Ahmed Musa could be heading on a collision course with his coach at CSKAMoscow, Vikor Goncharenko following the alleged threat by the Russian gaffer that the Nigerian forward will rot on the bench.
As reported by Leicester Mercury, Musa’s loan spell at CSKA Moscow may have indeed now taken a turn for the worse.
It is understood that the Nigerian made his ninth consecutive start for the club on Monday night but was substituted after 58 minutes with CSKA trailing 2-0 at home to Moscow rivals Dinamo.
Musa was inexplicably livid about being withdrawn and refused to shake his manager’s hand on his way to the bench.
The boss, Viktor Goncharenko, didn’t take kindly to Musa’s actions, approaching the 25-year-old and reportedly telling him that he “will sit on the bench forever”.
Interestingly Musa’s replacement, Fedor Chalov, scored two minutes after taking to the field; doing what the Nigerian failed to do with almost an hour of playing time.
Many will wait to see if Musa will be forgiven after the incident below or would start his bench role with Thursday’s Europa League clash against Arsenal.
