If Etisalat Pays Mohammed Abacha $90 Million, Then He Owes Nigeria That Money
Fellow Nigerians, we are about to be $90 million richer!! Hang on. So, apparently, the court ruling thus far on the Etisalat Nigeria case is going in favour of Mohammed Abacha, who supposedly gave loan to investors. The court has ordered that the new board for 9mobile be nullified.
Are we the only ones seeing things differently? What happens to the other investors if Abacha Jnr gets all of his money? Reports from ThisDay states that 13 other banks had also invested in the TelCo. That’s only half the gist.
Since the Abacha family is indebted to Nigeria for destroying our economy with their father’s loot, then that $90 million is ours. Unless he can defend this money, he should just give us back our money as soon as he gets paid.
The receiver manager for the TeleCo, United Capital Trustees have challenged the court ruling that dismisses the interim board of 9mobile. We hope a higher court sees that the battle of Spectrum Wireless which isn’t even listed as an investor, is entirely pointless.
