Globacom, MRS, FCMB Join Other Firms to Sponsor AMAA 2015

The 10th edition of the Africa Movie Academy awards (AMAA) will hold on Saturday May 24th, 2014 at Gabriel
Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. More corporate bodies have however identified with the awards
than the previous editions.

Corporate firms such as  Telecommunication giant, Globacom, Sterling Bank, MRS Oil & Gas and First City Monument Bank have all thrown their weight behind the awards.

Others include Skye bank, Atlas Oranto Petroleum, Dan Etete Foundation, Julius Berger, Skymit Autos, CCECC, BUA Group of companies and few others.

The organisers of the awards are working in partnership with the Bayelsa State government to host a very
successful event.

It will be recalled that the nominations into the 26 categories of the awards were announced in Johannesburg, South Africa on Wednesday April 2nd,
2014 . The 10th anniversary edition of the awards is designed to feature a panel discussion on the motion picture industry in Africa.
