Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang Lands London Ahead Of £53m Arsenal Deal
Gabon international and Borrrussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang has traveled to London with his agent in a bid to complete a move to Arsenal, according to reports.
Aubameyang has fallen out with the management of the Signa Iduna Park outfit following series of indisciplinary acts. The Gabonese had laid bare his desire to leave the Club last summer but Dortmund refused to listen to offers for him and that has accounted for his acts.
Arsenal are now closing on a £53m deal for the star as a replacement for the Old Trafford bound Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez agreed personal terms to join Manchester United but the completion of the deal now hinges on Henrikh Mkhi decision to move the opposite direction.
While reports emerged on Wednesday that AUBAMEYANG’S agent and father Pierre-Francois traveled to London to complete the move, London Evening Standard are in the claim that the Westfalenstadion star was part of the trip.
Borrussia Dortmund appear to be resigned to selling the star. They have been heavily linked with a move for Olivier Giroud and Chelsea’s Mitchy Batshuayi. Real Madrid are also lurking to sign Aubameyang, Arsenal may need to agree on time or lose the very potent star.
Arsenal are currently in disarray and may not qualify for the Champions League. In as much as a new manager is need at the Club, quality players like Aubameyang and Mkhi can turn the fortune of the club around.
Aubameyang’s father Pierre-Francois or “Yaya” played in France as a defender but he is currently a scout for Seria A giants AC Milan.
