The Linesman’s Reaction To Paul Pogba’s Sending Off Against Arsenal Is Priceless
Just hours after after an interview emerged of Paul Pogba saying that he ‘hopes’ Manchester City’s title charge is hindered by injuries to key players, the French midfielder was sent off and will miss the Manchester derby.
Pogba was given a straight red for a reckless challenge on Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin after stretching to get the ball.

It might have been unintentional, but the referee was right to give a red card as the Frenchman sarcastically applauded the officials’ decision.
As soon as Pogba stamped on Bellerin, we heard the commentators state that Ashley Young ran over to Jose Mourinho to discuss the challenge, perhaps discussing how they would deal without the influential 24-year-old.
A day later, a picture of Young speaking to Mourinho has emerged online, but it wasn’t their reaction to the challenge that got everyone talking.

As you see in the picture above, the linesman’s reaction to the challenge is priceless.
Here are some reactions from the Pogba challenge, a day after it happened:
The real shame of Pogba’s red is that it deprives us of a potentially classic derby. Can’t see Mourinho being anything like as open without his best player – and don’t blame him one bit

Pogba is a right cocky bastard clapping our fans for apparently getting him sent off.. Deserved. Absolutely ugly tackle just like his ridiculous hairstyle.

I genuinely can’t believe that there’s still people out there who think the Pogba challenge WASN’T a red. Talk about embarrassing yourself.

Guardiola passionately compliments an opponent and the media lose their minds. Pogba openly wishes serious injury on City players and these self-appointed arbiters of morality say precisely nothing. Strange lot.

Pogba misjudged the pace on the ball by letting it come across his body, as soon as he done that he had two options – accept losing possession or stretch and try to prod it away! The second he chose the latter, he was always risking a red IMO #mufc
