The first day I went to church at 15, a Prophetess told me that God was going to use me through music - Micasa's J'Something

Micasa’s frontman J’Something got to know about his career in music at 15 and according to him, it came from a Prophetess the first day he went to a church.

The South Africa singer in his testimony via Instagram, revealed that he freaked out and was slightly pissed because he felt the lady was embarrassing him in front of all the girls. J’Something went on to say that he never wanted to be a musician, but a sportsman.

He however called his mother for a guitar because he wanted to obey the Prophetess, who told him to pick up the instrument because God was going to use him in the music industry.

Narrating how his journey into music began, J’Something wrote;

My closest companion. First picked one up at the age of 11. As I sat one day in church, 15 years old, a prophet picked me out of a crowd of a couple 100 people. She called me up and told me she had a msg for me from God.

Now what you gotta understand is that this was my first time ever going to church. So I was freaked out and slightly pissed off cause this lady was embarrassing me in front of all the girls from VG. Any way … she went on to tell me that (without knowing me from bar of my soap my friends) God was showing her a musician. She asked me if i played music. I then thought she had gotten the wrong dude and this msg was for somebody else … but then she dug and pulled out a memory that reminded me I had played guitar when I was eleven for like 6 months. She then told me that God wants me to pick up guitar again because he is going to use me in the music industry!

Now what you must understand is at that time I had ZERO desire to be a musician. I wanted to be a sportsman. But I went home, slightly freaked out that God had sent a msg for me and it made no sense but still I wanted to obey. Called my mother up, told her, “mae, God says I need a guitar.” A few months later, after my mom had saved up enough money she went and bought me a guitar. I look back at that

Shocker! Doctors Remove 33 Objects Including Razor Blades And Screwdriver From A Man's Stomach

Doctors have removed 33 objects, including razors and knives, from the stomach of an Indian man.

Yogesh Thakur, 30, was admitted to hospital on July 14 after he complained of severe stomach pain.

His mother, Kusma Thakur, told doctors her son would ‘grab anything and eat it’, leading them to conduct x-rays.

They were stunned to find objects such as a knife, screwdriver, razor blades and plastic items inside Mr Thakur’s stomach.

Two days later, doctors extracted all the objects in an operation and Mr Thakur, a part-time farmer, is now recovering and will receive psychiatric help.

Doctors treated Mr Thakur at MPN Khare Surgical and Maternity Nursing Home in the city of Chhatarpur, about 370miles (600km) south of New Delhi.

Mr Thakur’s doctors said it’s likely he suffers with acuphagia, a disorder in which people eat sharp or metal objects and other items they can’t digest.

Acuphagia is a category of pica, an eating disorder whereby the person cannot help eating non-food items such as dirt, talcum powder or paint.
It often occurs alongside mental health disorders that impair functioning, such as autism or schizophrenia.

Doctors said Mr Thakur suffered from altered mental status (AMS).

This is a general term used to describe various disorders of mental functioning such as defects in judgement or thought, confusion and unusual or strange behaviour.

According to Mrs Thakur, her son has shown symptoms of strange behavioural patterns since he was a child, but she thought he would grow out of it.

She said: ‘He grabs anything and eats it. But we were surprised when we came to know that he could eat such dangerous things too.’

Dr MNS Khare, who performed the operation, said: ‘It was a rather difficult surgery as he suffered from hypertension [high blood pressure].

‘We were shocked and surprised to find over thirty sharp objects inside his abdomen.’

Dr Khare said Mr Thakur is currently recovering and will be discharged within the next five days.

The prevalence of pica is not known but it is believed to be more common in developing countries, according to the National Eating Disorders Associations.

Beyonce got 6 Emmy nominations for 'Homecoming', including the nomination for Outstanding Costumes

Beyonce’s “Homecoming” was nominated for 6 Emmys and one of them was for the iconic costumes she performed in.

People were talking about, not just her performance, but the creative costumes. So, it’s understandable that she stands to win awards for the documentary and costumes.

The 2019 Emmy nominees were announced on Tuesday, July 16, and Beyonce was among the long list of television nominees. She was nominated in the Variety Special categories for her Homecoming documentary, which documented the behind-the-scenes work that went into her iconic Coachella 2018 performance.

The Netflix special was nominated for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Production Design, and Outstanding Costumes for Variety.

Meanwhile, Twitter users are excited about this and can’t stop tweeting about it. But some feel Homecoming isn’t a movie or a TV series and shouldn’t have been nominated.
