President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the government and people of Benue State over the death of Chief Terkula Suswam.
Terkula was murdered in his Benue residence on Tuesday.
The deceased was Chief Executive Officer of Ashitech Group of Companies. He held a traditional title, Zege Iwanger I Tiv.
Buhari, in a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Thursday, condoled with the former Benue Governor, Gabriel Suswam.
He consoled with the friends and associates of the community leader, ”whose impact on media and education in the state remain commendable”.
The president said he expected the circumstances surrounding the assassination to be thoroughly investigated and the culprits brought to book.
The Nigerian prayed that God will receive his soul and comfort the family and loved ones.
