Nigerian Women have again been enjoined to play active parts in the fight against single motherhood, divorce, rape, and polygamy, which are now rampant in society.

Speaking on Monday, the Spiritual Father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye gave the charge against the backdrop of the various ills in the society and as the World marked the international widows day.

Prophet Abidoye condemned the high rate of vices in society calling on women to be the vanguards of change to save the coming generation.

A press release signed by the Secretary-General of the church Apostle Ademola Odetundun on behalf of the Spiritual Father appealed to women to train their children to rely on only Jesus Christ and stand as end-time soldiers for Christ.

The Spiritual Father said, “Mothers should mentor the next generation of young mothers for Christ, be shining examples, role models in and out of the church in their mode of dressing, lifestyle and communication”.

The Spiritual Father urged them to operate according to the role of mothers in the Bible admonishing them to join hands to build the Church to fight against laziness, poverty and untimely death.

He implored women to participate in politics as women of old to be relevant in government, adding that no one would come and give them positions at home.

“Christians including women should not look at politics as a dirty game but as an opportunity to lead with the fear of God.

“If Politics is dirty, go in and beam your searchlight into it and make it clean with the fear of God,” Prophet Abidoye declared.
