Former Chelsea man Glenn Hoddle has told Chelsea one of their new signings, David Datro Fofana is not ready to play.
He said the French attacker is not the answer to the Blues’ attacking issues following their goalless draw with Fulham on Friday evening.
Fofana joined the Blues in an £8 million deal from Molde during the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old played his first match for the Blues, coming on as a substitute in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw against Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
Graham Potter’s side have only been able to score two goals in their last six games in all competitions.
While analysing football matches on Premier League Productions, Hoddle was asked if Fofana will be the answer to Chelsea’s attacking problems, he said “No, he’s not the answer.
“He’s not ready now. Even if he had an absolute blinder and scored two goals he wouldn’t be the answer yet.”
