Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, has reacted to Petr Cech’s decision to step down as the club’s Technical and Performance Advisor.
Chelsea earlier confirmed on Monday that Cech would be stepping down from his role effective 30 June.
Cech had held the position since his appointment three years ago.
Reacting, Boehly said he understood Cech’s decision to step down from his role, wishing the former Arsenal shot-stopper all the best.
Boehly told Chelsea’s official website: “Petr is an important member of the Chelsea family.
“We understand his decision to step away and thank him for his contributions as an advisor and his commitment to the club and to our community. We wish him the best.”
