“I’m not even at the top, yet they all wanna cry” – Laycon throws shade in freestyle video
BBNaija lockdown edition winner, Olamilekan Agbeleshe popularly known as Laycon, has dissed his critics in a rap freestyle on Jimmy’s Jump Off with popular disc jockey, DJ Jimmy Jatt.
The fast-rising rapper featured on the popular show in order to address some of the criticisms he has gotten since he won the reality show via music.
Laycon is one of the most talked about housemates on the lockdown edition and has been slammed by his fellow housemate’s fans for diverse reasons.
The singer, who has expended a lot of energy on building his musical career, was recently attacked on social media after a man said his career might fade away like that of his BBNaija music colleague, Efe.
In the freestyle on Jimmy’s Jump Off, Laycon addressed several issues ranging from his lifetyle choice since he won the show, his approach to competition, and others.
Some of his punchlines were,
“Firstly you’ll never see me talking shit about another person, I’m on my shit.
“Secondly, you’ll never see me trying to pull another person down.”
“There’s a lot to brag about but I stay humble.
“You don’t see war generals make enemies with those they’ve already defeated, they just move forward and conquer more territories.”
