Magixx, a Nigerian artist, responded euphorically after receiving a text from renowned singer Wizkid.
Magixx jokingly promised not to eat over the excitement by posting screenshots of Big Wiz’s direct message to him on Instagram.
The Made in Lagos singer congratulated Magixx on his success and called him a superstar.
In the chat, Wizkid wrote him: ”Shine on superstar.”
Magixx responded: “It’s official! I no Dey chop this night.”
Magixx, whose real name is Adelabu Alexander, rose to prominence after signing a record deal with Mavin Records after months of training at Mavin Academy.
He released his debut project, Magix EP, shortly after entering the industry.
