Ministry of Interior, INEC, others make presentations as Buhari presides over FEC
On Wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the 36th virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Ministries of Interior, Environment, Works and Housing, Power, Finance and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are expected to make presentations at the meeting.
In attendance at the meeting were Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, as well as ten Ministers.
The ten Ministers in attendance include the Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Justice, Abubakar Malami, Agriculture Sabo Nanono, Finance, Zainab Ahmed, and Environment, Mahmood Mohammed.
Others were the Ministers of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar, Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Interior, Rauf Aregbesola and Power, Sale Mamman.
Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of Service of the Federation, and other Ministers participated in the weekly cabinet meeting from their various offices in Abuja online.
A minute silence was observed for a former Secretary of Commerce and Tourism, Mohammed Inuwa Bakari, who died on Sunday 21st February, at the age of 88.
