PDP lawmaker Osewu, supporters join APC
John Osewu, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dumped the platform.
The lawmaker represents Doma South at Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
Osewu and his supporters joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday at Doma LGA.
NAN reports that Governor Abdullahi Sule received the defectors.
“I want to assure you and your supporters of equal rights and other privileges like other members of the APC,” he said.
Deputy Governor, Emmanuel Akabe, a Doma indigene, expressed confidence that the development would strengthen the party in the area.
Osewu explained that he joined APC due to the achievements of the Sule administration.
