The leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, who also doubles as a chief agitator for Biafra republic, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to a reported killing of twenty people at the Nigerian army base.
In the early hours of Monday, reports had emerged that the Nigerian army base was attacked by the members of the deadly Boko Haram terrorist group.
According to Sahara Reporters, the soldiers made a distress call but the Nigerian airforce who came for the rescue with military fighter jets, mistakenly bombed the Nigerian army’s trucks – killing twenty army officers in the process.
It was reported that the airforce teams were confused as both the Nigerian army personnel and the Boko Haram terrorists were all putting on the same military uniform.
After the unfortunate incident was reported, the IPOB leader said the scenario that played out was due to lack of professionalism.
