The Bullet Was Never Removed From Tina's Body Throughout Her Stay In The Hospital

Late Ezekwe hailed from Ohaji town and resided with her parents at Opeloyeru street in Bariga, one of the neighboring areas in Iyana Oworo, the venue of the shooting. Ezekwe was a 16 year old girl with hopes for a bright future before she was gunned down by a reckless and drunk Nigerian police officer some days ago. She was rushed to the hospital and she finally gave up the ghost two days ago.

According to eye witnesses, the Police Officers and Sars Operatives were getting drunk at a nearby bar before the incident. Tina was shot by the Nigerian police officer, identified as Mr Ogun, the event took place around 10pm at Iyana – Oworo Berger bus stop on the 26th of May, 2020. The officer was reportedly arguing with a commercial bus driver and threatened to shoot. He proceeded to shoot both the bus driver and innocent Tina who was standing around the bus stop. The driver was rushed to a hospital and is currently recuperating at Island General Hospital in Lagos.

Late Miss Tina was rushed to R-Jolad hospital in Gbagada area of Lagos when the incident occurred around 10pm and was moved to Island General Hospital by 11:30pm. She spent days at Island General Hospital in Lagos before she died. Throughout her stay in the hospital, the was not removed and she died two days ago, 28th of May, 2020. The police officer who shot her has been reportedly arrested.
