PSV Eindhoven has confirmed that the club have accepted an offer to sell Noni Madueke to Chelsea.
Chelsea submitted a £29m proposal to sign the midfielder on Thursday night.
Madueke, born in London, rejected offers to join Manchester United in 2018 and decided to join PSV.
The 20-year-old England U21 international, who came through the Crystal Palace youth team, has gone from strength to strength in the Netherlands.
PSV boss, Van Nistelrooy confirmed that the deal has been done and the offer accepted.
‘We are losing a good player because of his departure. There was no turning back and there was a solid financial compensation.
“I can empathize with the importance of the club.
“Given the circumstances, with the financial compensation, we have decided to sell.”
